A multiple Jessie Richardson Award nominated director and actor, Tamara’s recent directing credits include the world premiere of A Brief History of Human Extinction (The Cultch/ upintheair); Into the Woods (Vancouver Island University); The Out Vigil (Theatre Newfoundland Labrador); The Double Axe Murders (Rusticate/ Presentation House); Reasons to be Pretty (Western Edge); A Doll’s House (Slamming Door); James and the Giant Peach (Chemainus Theatre Festival); and A Beautiful View (Naked Goddess). Among many assistant directing credits are Twelfth Night (Bard on the Beach); Fiddler on the Roof (Gateway); No Great Mischief (Vancouver Playhouse); and The Winter’s Tale (Classic Chic). She is Artistic Producer for Rusticate Theatre and co-AP for the Slamming Door Collective. Upcoming Directing includes: Between the Sheets (Western Edge); The Sea(Slamming Door); Madama Butterfly (Opera Nanaimo); TDAM remount tour.
